Question:When do I need to enable RSTP/STP?

1、IEEE 802.1 W RSTP/STP allows networks with multiple redundant links, but without a "traffic loop,"
to improve reliability. Henrich managed switches support RSTP/STP protocol when used with third
party switches, when RingOn is not available. When users need to build a reliable redundant network
that uses switches from both Henrich and other vendors, RSTP/STP must be enabled. Furthermore,
don't forget to checkmark the ports that connect to other devices, or the STP/RSTP will not be
activated for these ports.
2、We also recommend checkmarking all ports on the EDS when using STP/RSTP. Doing so can help
prevent accidental cabling mistakes.
